Hopped on to the coach and it was Paris straightaway. Technically, we spent less than 12 hours in Belgium-.- God the bus ride was gruelling ): It's just sitting there, watching everything roll by, knowing that everyone else out there most likely have something better to do than rotting in a coach. ): The journey to Paris was so long I didn't even bother finding out how many hours of my life I had wasted on the coach.
food to munch on
a cuppa at the stopovers
and yes, monopoly deal with my cousins and tour mate. we all reached the stage where a day can't pass without it.
anti-shoe shoe shop? #foodforthought
One major flaw of Day 7 is the freaking sky. It was so grey and gloomy the whole day:< Grey skies seriously bring the whole mood of the pictures down. Idk about you but I always thought grey skies - not enough sunlight = darker faces = look more tired = sad pic. It works this way yea.
some people need to grow up. Pronto.
I know I can't get the sky to change but really *sighs*
we saw the Eiffel Tower,
Arc De Triomphe, and many more bits of life:)
another tumblr-worthy pic!
hmmmm...
Popped into a perfumery after the brief city tour. <---- YES, this is the second boring-est activity I was talking about in the prev post! The place we went to is Fragonard Perfumery. There's nothing wrong with the place, let's just say I'm not the biggest fan of activities that are 1) zero hands-on, 2) which major aim is obviously to get us to buy stuff. -.-
I did not just say that, OH YES I DID:O But let's just take it that you didn't see it.
Blablabla a tour round the perfumery's lil' museum with an incredible guide who speaks English, Chinese and French. Our time kinda clashed with another tour group so we had our tour together. Not a very big space, at least 35 people, display cases which I can't see since they were blocked from my view, MY I HAD A GREAT TIME THERE (Y)
The perfume shop was really the bottom line for me. Felt as though my nose entered some nuclear perfume bomb explosion site. My head started to throb so I literally escaped out for cool fresh air. Hahaha the few of us were just hobo-ing outside the shop like some anti-perfume club:) To me, even ciggy smell is more tolerable than like a gazillion perfume bottles together. Once again, there's a reason why we don't ever wear more than one scent everytime.
outside the shop. looks so much like a romantic movie set ♥
The best part of the day was after dinner!:D Boarded a Seine River cruise which yea, sails down the Seine River hahahaha. Despite how Paris was so overused as a setting for mostly extremely cliché and unrealistically lovey stories, its night scene is really undeniably beautiful. Seriously, no matter how much the soppy stories are sucha huge turn off.
the sparkling Eiffel♥ I think it sparkles every hour or so. GORGEOUS TTM
a bunch of vvvv friendly school kids! we waved at each other like idiots (Y)
failed artsy candid shots :P
That night was frigging epic. Played Monopoly Deal until it's like 2am there. We got the MM(!) - Monopoly Madness
